Katy joined the Be Inspired team in March 2022. Katy earned her Bachelors at Hampshire College and Masters in Social Work at Westfield State University. Katy currently is licensed as a Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). 

 

Katy has extensive work with children and families in therapeutic school settings. Katy has been a clinician at a therapeutic day school for the past 3 years and worked at Springfield Public Schools for 2 years. Katy also has work experience with foster care, adoption, and homelessness. Katy uses varies techniques such as play, CBT, and strength-based approach. Katy is currently working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist and is in Phase II hoping to complete this process in August 2023. 

 

Katy enjoys cycling and spending time with her dogs, husband, and friends. Katy also enjoys traveling and exploring new places.
