Marci daCamara, LMHC

Marci is the Director and Owner of Be Inspired Counseling, LLC. She received her Undergraduate degree from Brandeis University in 2000 and her Masters in Counseling, with a Specialization in Addictions from Antioch New Hampshire in 2003. She has worked in a variety of treatment settings
including outpatient, home-based, and residential. Marci’s successes include the development of the Massachusetts state-wide curriculum for the Adolescent Substance Abuse Day Treatment Program and working with high-risk youth in the Department of Youth Services.


In March 2017, Marci opened the practice as a solo operation at our Stoughton location. Six months later, she added two additional office spaces within the same location, transitioning into a group practice and allowing for the ability to serve more members of our communities. In June 2019, the
Stoughton site grew into the six clinical offices that currently occupy our space. In June 2020, the Mansfield location opened and currently houses five clinical spaces.

 

Recently, Marci was a part of the Back to School segment on WCVB morning news. She was also a guest speaker for the Mental Health Speaker Series at the Sharon Public Library, Randolph SEPAC, Easton Wings of Hope, and FMC Ice Sports. In addition, Marci has worked with local schools to support their teachers regarding social-emotional issues.


Marci works with clients ages 5 thru adult, and focuses on areas including mood regulation, trauma, addictions, and relationships. She is certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and additionally utilities a variety of trauma-informed, strength-based, client-centered approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), sand tray, therapeutic play, and therapeutic art. Marci provides individual, couples, and family counseling services.


Marci splits her time between the Stoughton and Mansfield locations.

 

Marci enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, crafting, traveling, and shopping.
